A Source of Pride for WIZO

Against a rising wave of anti-semitism in france, prominent french government representatives and jewish community leaders attend a wizo gala event in paris on Chanukah. A performance by the WIZO Nachlat Yehuda Youth Village dance and song ensemble, specially invited from Israel, moves the audience to tears

Olive Tree Project at the WIZO Afula Community Center

Olive trees are the subject of the exhibit created by 40 women, Arab and Jewish, from Afula and surrounding Arab villages. The uniqueness, personality and perspective of each artist is reflected in the thirty-five oil paintings on show. These women worked together, sharing their life experiences, and cultures to create these unique and symbolic pieces of art.

WIZO CHAVEROT AROUND THE WORLD RESPONDED IMPRESSIVELY TO THE GLOBAL SHABBAT PROJECT -

Approximately 200,000 WIZO chaverot light candles last Friday, added a special prayer for Israel and conducted Tzdaka activities.
