WIZO operates a variety of services and projects designed to help new immigrants to settle into Israeli society - educationally, financially and socially.
Tutoring is provided for children from grade 1-9, who have learning disabilities, in five WIZO centers throughout the country, by an accredited teacher and WIZO volunteers.
Adisia was established a decade ago to support Ethiopian Jewish women in Israel by providing a setting in which they can create and market traditional Ethiopian Jewish embroidered handicrafts.
For elderly new immigrants who learn about Israeli culture and improve their Hebrew language skills. Operates in 16 WIZO branches around the country.
The Empowerment of Women Immigrants
Workshops about self awareness, rights, learning life skills, etc. Empowerment and social meetings. Operates in 12 WIZO branches around the country.
