Upcoming BBC Radio Broadcast Featuring Two Young WIZO Musicians

Gadi Abu Saman and Orian Shukrun from the WIZO Maalot Tarshicha Music Conservatory will be interviewed on BBC Radio 3's "In Tune" program on 15 February for a live interview with Sean Rafferty. The show begins at 4:30 p.m. UK time, and Gadi and Orian will be on at about 5:00 p.m.  They will perform on the piano together and be interviewed. The broadcast will last for a total of   about 20-25 minutes.

Gadi aged 21 and Orian aged 19 have studied music at WIZO Maalot Tarshcicha Music Conservatory sponsored by WIZO Switzerland since they were 6 years old. They are a unique musical team who believe that the harmony created through music can be a key to building bridges of peace in a diverse multicultural society such as Israel and in the world. Currently Gadi an Israeli Arab studies music at the Jerusalem Music Conservatory while Orian a yeshiva student combines his IDF service and religious studies. The two musicians are currently being hosted by WIZO uk and performed at their annual gala dinner in London and Leeds. Last year the duo were guests of WIZO Switzerland and performed and studied master classes in Geneva.
