A lending library

A lending library, with books and games, in the Multi Purpose Day Care Centers

Books and games are an essential part of the sensor motoric, cognitive, language and social development in each child. Most of the children in the Multi Purpose Day Care Centers are from a low socio economic background.  They have few, or no books or games in their homes.  The educational and therapeutic staff do not have the professional knowledge to carry on a dialogue with the parents on the ways to choose books and games.

The project will:

Enrich language skills and  play skills amongst the children and their parents.
Allow the child to choose a book, or game, which is suitable for his age and
    development.
Improve the knowledge and experience of the carers in the choosing of
    books/games and instructing the parents.
