On  Wednesday 17 December 2014, Tova Ben-Dov,  President of World WIZO joined heads of the National Institutions and Jewish and Zionist Organizations, who  gathered in Jerusalem for the Periodical Briefing organized by the IDF Spokesperson's Unit. The theme was Explanations, difficulties and conclusions of the Protective Edge Campaign. 
IDF Spokesperson, Brig. Gen. Moti Almoz with Tova Ben-Dov, President of World WIZO of the Greeks; they knew they held a precious treasure and it was not to be relinquished…

In regard to the Protective Edge Campaign, Brig. Gen. Moti Almoz explained that mistakes were made, however, by its very nature - war is imprecise and unpredictable.
Furthermore, modern war has become less about the battles between states and their armies and more about defeating violent non-state guerilla groups that maintain totally different morals and rules of engagement that dictate what actually happens during a battle.

 
He reviewed the situation in our region, and spoke of the work carried out by the IDF Spokesperson's Unit. The development of the media and technology add new facets and dimensions to the Units scope of work.   
It is no longer just interviews and briefings  to press and TV channels – it includes preparing data, videos and other relevant materials for the  internet, networking, and digital communications, that along with round the clock news editions,  increase the necessity for frequent, new and updated material 24/7.
