Responsibilities of the Fundraising Department:

 WE work alongside WIZO Federations, individual donors, corporate donors and Foundations world wide to develop
    and market WIZO Fundraising Campaigns globally.

 WE are responsible for supplying professional and up to date materials on capital projects, programming, and activity
    reports which outline the current needs of WIZO’s facilities across Israel.

Activities of the Fundraising Department:
provision of extensive opportunities for direct giving for Day Care Centres, Youth Clubs,
Schools and Youth Villages and WIZO Centres, across Israel
donor recognition by way of honorary plaques and dedication ceremonies
outreach to new donor bases
opportunities for planned giving (endowments/wills/bequests)
online donor opportunities donation cards for special occasions
donation cards for special occasions
promotion of WIZO via sales of WIZO specially branded gifts
coordination of on site visits and presentations for individuals and groups from abroad

Of Special Interest:

 Volunteer supervised internships of 2-4 months (OTZMA/Stagerim) for young adults from abroad seeking placement in a 
    fundraising and community service setting.
 
 WIZO, the Women's International Zionist Organization, is a non-party international movement dedicated to the advancement of the status of women, welfare of all sectors of Israeli society and encouragement of Jewish education in Israel and the Diaspora.
 WIZO is an international movement of Zionist women, founded in England in 1920. Today, there are over a quarter of a million volunteers in 50 Federations throughout the world, working actively for the welfare of the citizens of Israel and providing help and support in the operation of hundreds of education and welfare projects and services.
