Corporate Programs

Corporate Giving

philanthropic efforts usually reflect the diverse interests of its key businesses. Each company has its own philanthropic priorities and unique resources, from product donations to recordings and screenings that benefit a multitude of causes.

There are a number of opportunities throughout the year for corporate involvement with WIZO. Whether your company makes an outright gift, sponsors an event, or establishes a matching gift program, your investment will make a critical difference in the lives of Israeli children and women.

Corporate Matching Gifts Program

Interested in doubling or even tripling your donation to WIZO at no cost to you?

As a benefit to employees, companies often increase the impact of their employees’ gifts to WIZO and to other charitable organizations (in the US - 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization) by matching employees’ contributions.

Thousands of companies match employee gifts Dollar for Dollar. Some companies
match two or even three to one. Some companies may also match in-kind gifts, or
gifts of products and equipment (like computers).

Most companies have guidelines that the employee and charitable organization must meet before a contribution will be matched. Your company’s benefits or human resource department can provide you with information about its matching gift program and the necessary forms to complete. Many companies will also match gifts made by retirees, spouses of eligible employees and directors.

Some examples of companies that offer Matching Gifts Programs: American Express, Apex, BP, Chase Croup, GE, HP, IBM, Microsoft, Sony. If your place of employment is not listed here, check with your HR department for details.

How it works:

1. Confirm the Employee Matching Gifts Program with your employer and make your donation to WIZO.

2. We will take it from there – once we have verified that your donation has been made, we will fill out the second portion
of the form and return it to your employer, who will then disburse the matching funds to us.
